Consumer privacy policy

At Fchat, we make the protection of your personal information our top priority. We respect the privacy of our users and developed this privacy policy to state our commitment to protecting your privacy. We fully understand that your personal information belongs to you, so we make every effort to securely store and handle the information you share with us.

Fchat may amend the content of the policy by posting a revised version on Fchat's system, the revised version takes effect from the time of posting. If the user continues to use the service, it means that you have accepted and definitely agree to abide by the updated terms of use.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using the Service. By accessing the Service, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, fully accepted and will comply with this Privacy Policy.

  1. Purpose of collecting User's personal information

Fchat uses information collected from Users for the following general purposes:

  • Identify and verify the account.
  • Improve the service, customer care and research.
  • Provide information, services and support requested by Users.
  • Resolve disputes, arising issues related to the use of Fchat website.
  • Prevent illegal or prohibited activities outlined in the Terms of Use.
  • Other purposes permitted by the law (Fchat will notify Users on a case-by-case basis)

To be able to fully use the features on Fchat's software products, users need to register as a member and provide their personal information. The information you need to provide to Fchat includes:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Correct email address

You can still anonymously access the Fchat website https://fchat.co.  After your successful registration, you can edit the name yourself on the account management page. If you need to change your login email or phone number, you need to send us a request and go through the verification steps.

All user information provided to Fchat will be stored on the system. When needed, Fchat users can ask about the collection and processing of information related to their personal information security at the address:

  1. Scope of use of User information

User's information will be stored on the system by Fchat in the following common cases:

  • When the User registers and/or uses Fchat's services.
  • When the User submits any type of form, not limited to single forms or other forms related to Fchat products and services, either online or physical forms.
  • When the User enters any agreement or provides any documents or other information related to your interaction with Fchat, or when you use the company's products and services.
  • When the User interacts with Fchat, such as by phone, (calls may be recorded), mail, fax, face-to-face, social media and email.
  • When the User uses electronic services or interacts with Fchat through the Fchat Platform or uses the service on the Fchat Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, cookies Fchat may deploy when you interact with the Fchat Platform.
  • When a Fchat User makes a transaction through the Fchat platform or services.
  • When User gives feedback or complaint.
  • When the User provides his/her personal data to Fchat for any reason.
  • Other cases that Fchat deems necessary in accordance with the provisions of law.
  1. Term of storage of User information 

Fchat stores and processes Users’ personal information on the server, protected by physical and electronic safeguards including firewalls, data encryption and procedures applied according to information privacy law. Fchat enforces physical access control to information and only allows access to users’ personal information to employees who need it to fulfil their job responsibilities within the Fchat system.

Users’ information and account will be stored indefinitely on Fchat's system so you can renew the service at any time.

  1. Who may have access to User information

Fchat commits to not provide, sell, exchange, or do other commercial activities with your personal information. However, the non-identifying information of website visitors may be used and provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.

Other individuals and organizations may have access to information of Fchat Users in the following cases:

  • Information has been made public by the User.
  • Fchat has the User's consent to disclose this information.
  • A third party that Fchat User authorizes or allows to request the User's personal information from Fchat. Authorization or permission must be shown in a notarized or authenticated written document.
  • There is a legal request or from a government agency or Fchat believes such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or to comply with the law
  • It is to protect the rights, interests, property and safety of someone else on the basis of balancing the interests of all parties.
  • The information is for other third parties with which Fchat has joint ventures or affiliations to provide services on Fchat, or for new services related to Fchat that the User is also using on Fchat's software.
  • Fchat is acquired or merged with another company. In this case, Fchat will notify you by email or by prominently posting on Fchat's website before information about you is transferred and becomes the subject of a different privacy policy.

In addition but not limited to the above cases, Users’ personal information is always kept confidential before any third parties unless Fchat fully believes that this disclosure is necessary to prevent financial or physical damage due to potentially illegal factors.

  1. Methods and tools for Users to access and edit personal data

After completing the handover of products/services, the User is the sole entity that owns and is responsible for securely managing identification information, administrative accounts, passwords, website content or other information related to your account, website. Users can log in to their account to edit information on the website, have the right to request Fchat to check, update, adjust or cancel their previously registered personal information. Fchat is not responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of the information users post on the website.

Fchat will check, update, adjust and cancel Users’ personal information upon request or provide them with the information tools to check, update and adjust their personal information themselves. We only support Users through the account you actively provide to Fchat. If you discover unauthorized access to your account or security vulnerabilities, including loss, theft or disclosure of passwords and other security information you need to immediately notify Fchat for support.

Users are solely responsible for the content of emails sent from their account’s mailbox and their website content. By providing an email and signing up for a trial, you agree to receive marketing emails from Fchat.

Users need to be responsible for keeping the device using the software and Fchat under control and safe, keeping access information to the Store to prevent the account from being stolen and/or abused for unsafe purposes. We recommend that Users change their password soon after providing the password to relevant parties for support.

  1. Use of Cookies

Cookies are small amounts of data, sent to the User's browser from a website and stored on the computer's hard drive. Cookies allow the website or the service provider's system to recognize your browser and store certain information.

We use cookies to understand and store your activity and better meet your needs for your next visit. If the User chooses to refuse cookies, it may interfere with and affect some cookie-dependent services and features at Fchat.

Fchat reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time, so we recommend that you review and check it regularly. If there are important changes to this policy, Fchat will notify Users by email or by means of a notice on the website.   1. Complaint settlement

In any case of comments or complaints, please send them to Fchat by the following methods:

Depending on the complexity of the complaint, Fchat will have a corresponding processing time. Complaint settlement results will be notified to Users and if necessary, Fchat can invite complainants to work directly.

Fchat will make every effort to resolve Users’ complaints as soon as possible and in the spirit of negotiation, reconciliation, respect and mutual benefit.
